TEHRAN – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei visited a technology exhibit in Tehran on Monday.

Scientific and technological products, designed and manufactured by Iranian scientists, are on view in the exhibit.
The products are in different ranges, including aerospace, microelectronic, new energy, nanotechnology, interdisciplinary technology, stem cells, information and communication technology, biotechnology, herbal and Iranian remedies.
An industrial satellite manufactured by Amir Kabir University and domestically manufactured Navid and Zafar satellites were also on display. The vice president for science and technology, secretary of the High Council for Cultural Revolution, the health and defense ministers and a number of university professors were accompanying the Leader in his visit to the exhibit.
Last week Iran's comprehensive scientific map, which has been compiled to organize the country's scientific activities, was unveiled.
The compiling of the roadmap took three years and more than 2,000 experts worked on it for about 300,000 hours. The scientific map will be implemented in 15 years.
The roadmap is expected to achieve eight general goals in science and technology including education, defense, aerospace, and nuclear.
The construction of nuclear power plants, nuclear fusion and manned missions to space are the main objectives of the map.
